For whatever reason, .attr('value') on a textarea no longer gets its
value reliably. Using the native element's value property works.

add configuration and docs for vagrant installation

Not sure how this wasn't totally broken for @gergely-ujvari.

The app is part of the site these days, since, well, duh.
